2012 06 30 Want It Back
It doesn't matter if you want it back.
You've given it away,
you've given it away.

If the art muse wants attention, she gets it.
This started out as a quick doodle from sometime last year. I uploaded it some time ago and only now had the inspiration, and time, to turn it into something else. Wasn't going for detail - just more of a feeling.

The person herself is very nicely drawn and is interesting, especially her dress. However, the dress and the background oddly blend together and the texture makes this seem more like graffitti than anything else. I would get rid of the texture, and add some lighting and shading to the girl. Make her hair and body seem three dimensional, not two. I would make the background brighter and spend more time on it so it looks like she is looking out at the pasture or sky, and not just surrounded by blues and greens. This is really pretty though, and it did catch my eye. The line art was spectacular.
